JDHarding Posted February 4, 2009 Share Posted February 4, 2009 I ordered some supplies from hookah-shisha.com at 1AM Tuesday, and I still haven't received any notification that anything's been shipped, though my credit card has already been charged. I placed an order monday evening and just got done talking to them on their live chat and it was shipped out today. They said I should recieve a tracking number by this evening. SimplexCoda Posted February 4, 2009 Share Posted February 4, 2009 So you ordered something at 1 in the morning on tuesday and its now wednesday 2 in the afternoon and you worried that its not gonna ship? sometimes warehouses take 2-3 days to ship things, they have other orders that were in first that need to be filled and shipped. If the order has been processed it means they have packed the stuff but it hasnt been shipped yet. A lot of places like that have a daily pick up time that ups or fed ex or what ever comes by to pick up everything for the day, thats typically near closing time. I've had bad past experiences where places hold a package for 3 days without shipping, even though they charged the money and got it packed in a box the same day, it didn't ship out for 3 days. And no, not a weekend or holiday, it just didn't ship out. Like they only ship once a week or something.Hopefully these guys aren't the same.. I ordered Monday Morning, and They called me cause a couple of my Tangiers Choices where gone by the time they started processing my order. Their traffic has increased substantially because of recommendations from other people. They are good guys down in the ATX. They won't cheap shot yah. But I have had over 10 orders with HC and they always ship out within 24 hours ... and hookahjohn ... well he is a different beast, usually gets stuff out in less than 12 hours. Personally I don't order from HS because they are a tad bit slower than the other sites I order from ... but none the less you will receive your package, should ship soon, they are legit and everything will be a' ok. I used to order through HS before I found this board and learned of the other good vendors. Since then I have only dealt with Hookah Company and HookahJohn. Impressed with both of them. They both ship lightning fast. HS often times took a week to get my stuff, where I get it from HC and John in 3 days, usually for what seems to be less shipping cost too. Apparently they were sold out of one of the flavors of Tangiers I had ordered so they call and got everything lined out.Placed an order from HC yesterday for a phunnel and some Static Starlight.
